Na y Py i Taw, 3 Dce-The workshop will contribute a lot to national all-round development project being drawn by the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development. The government has already laid down four economic policies to be included in the planning. And those present on the occasion are to hold extensive discussions to be able to seek ways for planning which can be practically applied in their regions based on the findings from the workshop.
In ensuring progress and equality, urban and rural development, financial support and job creation, ways and prioritized plans need to be laid down, said Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for National Planning and Economic Development, at the workshop on important factors in drawing of r e g i o n a l e c o n o m i c development projects held at the ministry here at 8 am today. The workshop is meant to build the capacity of regional planning in order to ensure achievement ofreforms being initiated in the country with the assistance of FES of Germany.
